Juniper Moon Farm Yarns
Founded by Susan Gibbs in 2007, Juniper Moon Farm was the first to apply the Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) model to yarn and spinning fibers. Their CSA and flock retired at the end of the 2015 season and are living out their days grazing on sweet grass and sleeping under the stars. While tending to her creatures, Susan is also now the Creative Director of Juniper Moon Farm Yarns, a line of carefully sourced and thoughtfully crafted yarns that feature fibers grown in Peru, Argentina, Nepal, and Italy. Purl's mainly carries Juniper Moon's non-wool blends including the buttery soft Cumulus and the cotton/linen blend Zooey. We have also recently added their 100% organic merino dk yarn Patagonia.
